Notice regarding the June Sandhills Center Board of Directors and subcommittee meetings
Taking into consideration the NC Governor's Executive Orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sandhills Center Board of Directors and Board subcommittee meetings scheduled for June 9, 2020, will be held electronically.
Board packets will be distributed via email to all Board members, and a conference call line will be opened for participation and discussion. The conference call line is posted, below, to allow for public participation. Board meeting materials will be emailed to members of the public who usually attend. Others may request materials by sending an email to the Clerk to the Board in advance of the meeting.

Submission of Budget for Sandhills Center for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services
The 20/21 Fiscal Year Budget for Sandhills Center for MH, DD & SAS has been submitted to the Board of Directors and a copy is available for public inspection [HERE].
The Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on the budget during its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. The public may participate in the hearing by dialing 1-888-363-4734, and then entering the access code 6217146#.
Comments may be submitted now and up to 24 hours after the public hearing by e-mailing Sherry Bynum, Clerk to the Board. Comments received prior to 5 p.m. on June 9, 2020, will be read by the Clerk during the hearing. Other comments may be made by joining the conference call.
ABOUT THE SANDHILLS CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Sandhills Center is governed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from each of the nine counties we serve.
The goal of the Board is to provide oversight of programs and help make sure quality and access to services remains high throughout our catchment area.
The Board of Directors meets at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held at the Sandhills Center administrative office, 1120 Seven Lakes Drive, West End, NC.
During monthly meetings, the Board of Directors accepts advice from the public, Sandhills Center staff and subcommittees.
